The Role: Lead the Squad
Are you ready to step up and lead a team in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen? As a Shift Lead at Marco’s Pizza, you are the "Quarterback" of the store during your shift. You’ll be responsible for maintaining our high standards of food quality, ensuring legendary customer service, and coaching your team to success.
This is a perfect role for someone who is organized, reliable, and looking to grow their leadership skills in the restaurant industry.
Your Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the kitchen during your shift, ensuring every pizza meets the "Authentic Italian Way" standards.
- Team Leadership: Direct the workflow for Insiders and Drivers, providing clear instructions and keeping morale high during the dinner rush.
- Customer Satisfaction: Handle customer inquiries or concerns with professionalism and a "make it right" attitude.
- Inventory & Cash Management: Manage drawer counts, high-level POS tasks, and ensure food waste is kept to a minimum.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Ensure the team follows all health and safety protocols, maintaining a spotless store environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Leadership Experience: Prior experience in a restaurant or retail leadership role is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic.
- Problem Solvers: You can think on your feet and stay calm when the ticket rail gets full.
- Communication Skills: Ability to give clear direction and provide constructive feedback to the team.
- Reliability: You are the person the team counts on to open or close the shop and keep things running smoothly.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
